Jekyll 727 Piezo

This fully blown custom shop masterpiece features the legendary Rico family neckthru construction, mahogany wings, an exquisite book matched quilted maple top done with a black burst on the top and headstock only. The back of the neck is oiled from behind the nut area to where the wings begin. This guitar has a Tremol-no locking system. The Floyd Rose 7 string tremolo bridge is equipped with 7 Graphtech Piezo ghost loaded acoustic pickup saddles, piezo preamp and BareKnucle pickups.

Bernie Rico Jr Guitars is honored and delighted to post this endorsement of alliance with Paul Antonio Ortiz : Chimp Spanner. One of the many great perks of being in the guitar industry is the gift of meeting unique artists and the honor of hearing their music. Another perk is working with these artists on crafting their very personal handmade guitars. Last month we were given a release for review titled "At the Dream's Edge". The music explodes in your ears. If we had to sum up what we heard on this album in one word the word would have to be WOW.

Paul is an intensely gifted musician/guitarist and an architect of an unusual blend of music which merges Metal and Fusion with a plethora of other eclectic musical styles. The cuts on this album go from surreal and atmospheric to poly rhythmic and melodic heavy metal within a moments notice. Changing Gears

In the interest of Quality First and meeting the demands of a dynamic market place we are narrowing our scope of focus on marketing to the production of American Handmade Neckthru instruments Factory Direct to the public. At present the Hybrid line of instruments and Handmade Bolt-on guitars in the store are being phased out as Production lines. American Handmade Bolt-on Guitars WILL BE available as custom order guitars. For now the Hybrid Line is being put on hold so we can uncover what the future brings. I realize that in doing this I can give the utmost attention to each artist, instrument and the art of Guitar building.
